Ratenesh Sharma, Group Property Manager
Ratenesh has over 12 years’ experience in planning, construction project management, facilities management and property management both in Fiji and New Zealand. Before joining Airedale Property Trust, Ratenesh has worked for Auckland Council and C P Group. With a Master of Property (Hons) from the University of Auckland, BA – Land Use Planning & Real Estate (USP) and Diploma in Building (FIT), Ratenesh has a keen interest in social housing.
Fiona Masson, Group Human Resources Manager
Fiona has over 15 years’ experience in people, process, and change management. She specialises in Human Resource and Organisational Development and has a Master of Arts (Hons) with endorsement in Occupational Psychology from Massey University. Fiona has worked in commercial, government, and not-for-profit organisations across a range of industry sectors and locations including the UK, Australia and New Zealand. She has a keen interest in enhancing positive outcomes through initiatives that improve individual and organisational effectiveness, performance, and capacity.
Neil Gong, Group I.T. Manager
Neil has been in the IT industry over 12 years and has an interest in the areas of service management and information security assurance. Before coming to Airedale Property Trust he was the IT Manager at the Bible College of New Zealand (now Laidlaw College) and New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA). His recent achievements include being a finalist in the 2014 IDC CIO Summit Emerging ICT Leader Award.
Claudia Scott, Office Manager
Before moving to New Zealand and joining Airedale Property Trust in 2014, Claudia worked for 16 years for one private company in various roles including stock controller, invoice clerk receptionist and office manager.
Annie Komarinski, HR Advisor
Originally from the United States, Annie came to New Zealand in 2014. Prior to joining the team in 2015 Annie worked in a range of corporate and not-for-profit organisations including Georgetown University and New York University. With 15 years as a Human Resources professional, Annie has experience managing a full spectrum of human resources functions.
Nathan Balchin, Group Property Officer
Nathan joined Airedale Property Trust in 2013 as a Junior Tenancy Manager specifically involved in implementing property management services for the Matanikolo social housing development. Nathan has since moved into a property manager’s role specialising in the property management of Airedale Property’s social housing portfolio in particular the Matanikolo Housing Project and West Coast Road Youth Transition in Housing Project. Nathan has graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Manukau Institute of Technology & Bachelor of Arts – Social Science from Auckland University of Technology. He has recently completed a certificate in Facilitating Personal Financial Management in partnership with BNZ and Massey University.
Ikenna Chukwudumogu, Group Property Officer
Ikenna joined the APT in March 2019 as a Group Property Officer. Ikenna oversees the youth housing portfolio of the organization and other residential property portfolio. Before joining APT, he worked for Housing New Zealand and LinkPeople in different tenancy management capacities for over 4 years.
Ikenna has over 8 years’ experience in the property field here in New Zealand, United Kingdom and Nigeria. His work and academic experience also spans property research, valuation and management.
Maxine Keremete, Housing Specialist
Maxine joined the APT team in January 2018. She has spent the last 3 years in the financial services industry. Prior to this she worked for over 7 years in social housing, supporting people with mental health and addictions into homes. Maxine has also worked in the entertainment industry with customer service as the main objective, creating fun and memorable experiences. She has gained experience in multiple private businesses including retail, finance, horticulture, property management and service industries before joining APT.
Kelly Steele, Housing Locator/Specialist
Kelly joined the APT team in March 2019 and is based in the Rotorua Housing First office. She has 5 years of property management experience working within the Bay of Plenty. Kelly’s focus is on building strong trusting relationships with property investors, property owners and developers as well as the wider community. Last year, she completed a level 4 certificate in Bi-cultural social services. Kelly has a passion for working with people, helping them to create healthy, consistent lifestyle decisions. Kelly is Rotorua born and bred and working with Housing First in Rotorua alongside the local iwi to create positive, sustainable housing options for her community. She believes this position will make a difference.
Barbara MacDonald, Social Support Worker
Barbara’s role is to offer support or advocate on behalf of individuals or communities in any way required. She also helps to form connections and relationships by providing referrals to appropriate persons. The bulk of her work is at Aldersgate Village in Mt Eden, but Barbara also works with other APT tenants when they are referred to her.
Philip Harper, Group Financial Controller
Philip has extensive experience in Finance and General Management across a wide sector of businesses. In the mid-2000’s he managed a distance online learning organisation, which got him hooked on social enterprise and community development. Since that time Philip has held roles in the education and the Not for Profit sectors. Philip’s mantra for running the finance department is to keep things lean, eliminate the redundant tasks and reduce process with an enter-once-deploy-many strategy. In other words, cut down the noise and efficiently deliver our social objectives.
Elaine Russell, Accounting Services Manager
Elaine has a broad range of experience covering administration, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She has worked in multiple private business sectors including manufacturing, finance and service industries before joining Airedale Property Trust in 2010.
Lorraine Marevich, Management Accountant
Lorraine has over 15 years of experience in all areas of Finance. With strong reporting and analysis skills, in consultancy, retail and manufacturing environments, her main objectives are to provide continuous improvement, develop robust process controls and be a key Finance business partner. Lorraine has recently moved to New Zealand, from the UK, and she joined Airedale Property Trust in November 2015.
