Te Taha Maori

APT, in partnership with the Methodist Church, Te Taha Maori Property Trust and the Government (Ministry of Social Development) is working to provide quality and affordable social housing for 5 families.

Providing services that are sustainable, both financially and environmentally

The proposal is to build (2) five bedrooms’ accessible houses and three (3) two bedroom houses.

This development targets social housing tenants living in crowded, unstable or unsuitable accommodation and further allows Te Taha Maori Property Trust to expand its social housing provision, particularly for the elderly or those with physical disabilities.
The project is currently waiting council approval and construction is scheduled to start in October 2016.
